Real-Time EUROMAP 63 integration with SAP ECC 6.0
How do I get my data from the machine into SAP?
With the X10 Industrial Gateway you can easily read out your machine data via the EUROMAP 63 protocol. These are then transferred in real time to relevant Actyx applications. The SAP ECC 6.0 integration enables the import of data into the ERP in a predefined data schema.
How does machine data acquisition with EUROMAP 63 work?
The Machine Data Collection (MDC) application is installed on the Actyx Industrial Gateway, which is based on the Hilscher netPI. Data translation for the respective data schema of the system can be configured via the graphical configuration interface. The gateway comes with a compatible Ethernet connector and is extremely robust, so that it can also be used flexibly in extreme industrial environments. The gateway also supports further machine integrations, such as OPC UA or EUROMAP 12/67.
Maintain data sovereignty in your SAP system
When dealing with a heterogeneous IT landscape, it is more important than ever to have a reliable source of truth in the data center. Competing secondary systems or isolated solutions can even pose a business risk. Therefore, it is important to seamlessly integrate with SAP for relevant data when it comes to MDC. For this purpose, a standard interface, operated on an Actyx virtual machine, is used to play data into your ERP system in real-time. SAP thus remains the leading system for relevant data points.

Extend at the click of a button: leverage collected data with reporting, analytics and dashboards
If you collect machine data using EUROMAP 63, you will have access to more data than what would be relevant in SAP. However, this data can still add value to your operations. For a positive business impact, machine data collection can easily be extended, for example with the Reporting & Analytics application or with Visual Management Dashboards that display relevant data in real time.
Combine machine data collection with mobile terminals for higher data quality and more flexibility
When EUROMAP 63 data is imported into SAP, this is often only the beginning. This can be extended, for example, by high-precision order-related Manual Work Logging. The data can also be used to notify relevant employees in seconds about downtimes, faults, missing parts, etc. via the Mobile Team Collaboration application.
Data and transparency only become helpful, if they are leveraged through deriving, formulating and measuring operational initiatives to add value.
