With the X10 Industrial Gateway you can easily read out your Emhart IS machine data via the Flex IS protocol. The data is then processed real time in the Actyx Ada architecture and played into the Visual Management Dashboard application. This application is then displayed on the industry-rugged Smart Monitor on your shopfloor giving you real-time insight to important metrics such as line data, OEE and machine status.
The Machine Data Collection (MDC) application is installed on the Actyx Industrial Gateway, which is based on the Hilscher netPI. Data translation for the respective data schema of the system can be configured via the graphical configuration interface. The gateway comes with an ethernet plug for your Emhart IS machine and is extremely robust, so that it can also be used flexibly in the extreme environments associated with glass manufacturing. The gateway also supports further machine integrations, such as OPC UA, OPC DA (classic) or Bottero IS.
