With the X10 Industrial Gateway you can easily read out your Emhart IS machine data via the Flex IS protocol. These are then processed in real time in the Actyx Ada architecture and played into the Reporting & Analytics application. The application can then be used cross-device on your mobile phone or at your office. This gives you access to real-time information, push notifications and reports such as daily status, OEE or Job change reports wherever you are.
The Machine Data Collection (MDC) application is installed on the Actyx Industrial Gateway, which is based on the Hilscher netPI. Data translation for the respective data schema of the system can be configured via the graphical configuration interface. The gateway comes with an ethernet plug for your Emhart IS machine and is extremely robust, so that it can also be used flexibly in the extreme environments associated with glass manufacturing. The gateway also supports further machine integrations, such as OPC UA, OPC DA (classic) or Bottero IS.
Within the Actyx Reporting & Analytics application, data on operation processes can be analyzed interactively and intuitively. Filter and drill-down functionalities enable quick access to critical information. This leads to data-driven process improvements, newly identified optimization potentials and continuous evaluation of measures. The aggregated data can then be utilized to increase OEE through performance evaluations and in depth reports which are aimed to keep a 360 degree view of the entire glass manufacturing process. Of course, all reports can also be exported to Excel.
